American College of Radiology – Annual Body MRI Update

The collective objective of the Body MRI course faculty is to offer help in improving and growing your body MRI practice by openly sharing experience and expertise. It is from this experience that the faculty will share with you how they do it. Our faculty members are all well-published recognized experts in MRI and proven educators.

  • Apply essential sequences of a set protocol for a 20-minute abdominal MRI examination and interpret the significance of a bolus-triggered arterial phase enhanced image set
  • Formulate an outline for a comprehensive plan to set up a safe MRI environment for both patients and personnel within the magnet area
  • Assess diagnostic techniques using MRI to diagnose diseases of the solid and hollow organs of the abdomen and pelvis
  • Identify three new technology developments and applications for disease of the liver and for angiography
