Ocugiene, Inc. has sued ThermaMEDx, LLC and others in the Central District of California, alleging that ThermaMEDx’s EverTears self-heating, reusable eye compress infringes U.S. Patent Nos. 7,211,070 (entitled “Device and method for exothermic treatment of eyelid diseases”), 7,513,893 (entitled “Device and method for treatment of eyelid diseases”), and 8,267,907 (entitled “Device and method for exothermic treatment of eyelid diseases”).
