Supreme Court Denies Review in Vascular Catheter Case

On Monday the U.S. Supreme Court denied a writ of certiorari to W.L. Gore & Associates Inc.’s petition of a $185 million jury verdict for infringement of a C.R. Bard Inc. patent on a vascular catheter.  The catheter, which helps retain the shape of non-coronary blood vessels, is made of a substance sold by Gore as “Gore-Tex.”
