Paul A. Stewart graduated magna cum laude in 1987 from Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. He was on the Dean’s List each semester and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society.
Mr. Stewart received his Juris Doctorate in 1990 from the University of Virginia School of Law, served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review, and was elected into the Order of the Coif honorary society.
From 1990 to 1991, Mr. Stewart served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable James Browning, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1990 and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court for all districts of California.
