Abbott Diabetes Care Inc., formerly known as TheraSense, Inc., has sued DexCom, Inc. in the District of Delaware, alleging that DexCom’s G7 continuous glucose monitoring device infringes U.S. Patent Nos. 10,827,954 (entitled “Continuous analyte measurement systems and systems and methods for implanting them”), 11,202,591 (entitled “Analyte sensor and apparatus for insertion of the sensor”), 11,266,335 (entitled “Medical device inserters and processes of inserting and using medical devices”), and 11,298,056 (entitled “Methods and systems for early signal attenuation detection and processing”).
