Baraa Kahf

Baraa Kahf has been zealously advocating for clients in intellectual property litigation for over a decade, since graduating from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2008.  He has litigated in federal courts nationwide, before the US International Trade Commission (ITC), the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as in mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Baraa’s has represented clients in various industries, including dental implant design and surgical software, pulse oximetry technology, DNA sequencing and diagnostics software, banking software, mobile phones, and GPS software and hardware.  His practice includes litigating patent and trademark infringement lawsuits, federal and state trade secrets disputes, trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, licensing disputes, and domain name disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Baraa worked as an I/T specialist for IBM Global Services, where he designed, developed, and implemented various software and internet applications, including supply chain management software, financial data mining software, and resource management software.

He has been named a “Southern California Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine for his work in intellectual property litigation (2014-2019).

Baraa was a summer associate with the firm in 2007 and joined the firm in 2008.
