Sophia Petrichenko

Sophia Petrichenko is an associate in the firm’s San Diego office. She focuses on client practice through patentability and competitive landscape investigations and analyses as well as patent prosecution. Her clients include those in the medical device and biotechnology fields, but she represents individuals in a variety of technologies.

Prior to attending law school, Sophia worked in biotech gaining experience across the industry in DNA sequencing, cancer diagnostics, antibody and antigen manufacturing, biodegradable implants, and instrument development. Her undergraduate degree is Bioengineering, and she received her J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2022. Her free time is spent learning Spanish and traveling often.

Sophia worked at the firm as a student associate in January 2022, then she joined as an associate after graduation.
