Gregory A. Hermanson

Gregory A. Hermanson is a partner in the firm’s San Diego office. His practice includes representation of clients in the imaging, electrical, software and mechanical industries. He focuses on patent-related matters and has extensive experience in procuring intellectual property and protecting technology rights for new and established companies.

Greg practices in numerous high-tech areas relating to cyber-physical systems including drones, 3D and stereoscopic technologies, control systems, home connectivity and automation, IR sensing systems, image processing, business software, display systems, touch interfaces, mobile device imaging systems, wireless power transfer, Internet, smart sensors, wireless communication and educational software. His practice also includes medical and surgical technologies, mechanical and electro-mechanical products.

Prior to joining the firm, Greg was a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, and developed image exploitation systems for General Dynamics and BAE Systems, Inc.

Greg joined Knobbe Martens in 2002 and became a partner in 2008.
