Curtiss Dosier

Curtiss C. Dosier is a partner in our Orange County office. He focuses on client practice and represents clients in a wide range of mechanical engineering-related technologies. He has extensive experience in automotive and power sport technologies, bicycle technology, sporting goods, construction, medical devices and clean technology.

Mr. Dosier frequently advises clients regarding complex utility and design patent prosecution, including reexaminations, reissues and appeals to the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also has significant experience in foreign patent prosecution. A substantial portion of Mr. Dosier’s practice involves preparing patent and technology licensing agreements and invalidity and noninfringement opinions.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dosier worked as a project and costing engineer in the automotive industry. During law school, he was a legal intern with the American Motorcyclist Association and worked for a high-performance specialty motorcycle manufacturer. 

Mr. Dosier joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2006.
