Daniel M. Mittelstein

Daniel M. Mittelstein is an associate in the firm’s Orange County office. His practice includes patent prosecution, and due diligence. Daniel represents clients in a wide range of technologies including medical devices, international packaging design, and recreational equipment.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the California State University in Long Beach California. Daniel’s honors thesis involved research into how differing manufacturing procedures affected key features of carbon fiber composites for aerospace applications. While at university, Daniel was a member of the Maker’s society and was involved in competing with the Chemical Engineering Car team. During his undergraduate degree, Daniel worked as an engineer for a medical device company.

Daniel earned his law degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he was involved in the moot court competition. Daniel also represented several clients in the school’s Domestic Violence Clinic and the Environmental Law Clinic.

Daniel worked as a summer associate in 2021 before joining the firm as an associate in 2022.
