Emmett J. Litvak

Emmett is an associate in the Orange County office. His practice includes patent prosecution and due diligence. Emmett represents clients in a broad range of technologies, from materials, medical devices and health information/patient monitoring technologies to semiconductors and electronics, consumer products, and artificial intelligence.

Emmett received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and later his Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the same, with a focus in optics, photonics, and nanotechnology. Emmett undertook rigorous and multidisciplinary research during graduate school, developing quantum-optical devices for the future generation of information processing technology. After graduating, Emmett earned his law degree from UCLA, where he served on the Journal of Law and Technology and worked for UCLA’s pro bono patent prosecution clinic.

Emmett worked as a summer associate in 2022 before joining the firm in 2023.
