Marissa Rosenbaum focuses on all areas related to domestic and international trademark and copyright law, including, counseling, prosecution, maintenance, audits, policing, and enforcement. She also advises clients on the development and management of global trademark portfolios, counterfeit enforcement, intellectual property transactions, and unfair competition.
Marissa represents clients in several industries, including food and beverage, software, e-commerce, technology and electronic devices, retail, media and entertainment, medical devices, personal care products, and jewelry. She not only helps secure and protect trademark and copyright registrations, she also assesses risks, identifies gaps in protection, and recommends creative solutions to her clients when dealing with issues related to searches, online enforcement, assignments, and infringement.
In addition to her prosecution practice, Marissa also has experience representing clients in U.S. federal court as well as opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board. Marissa’s experience in litigation and adversarial proceedings, as well as counseling and prosecution, enables her to give clients well-rounded and thoughtful legal advice with respect to all of their trademark and copyright needs.
