Melis Tirhi is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Melis’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent and trademark litigation.
Melis graduated from LMU Loyola Law School. Melis was a part of the Environmental Moot Court and the International and Comparative Law Review. Additionally, Melis interned for the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp. at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Melis received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, where she studied Bioengineering with a concentration in Bioimaging and Signal processing. While at Northeastern, she received the Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor Award for her cell research on pericellular matrix degradation and the development of heart disease. She also completed a co-op at Draper in Cambridge, MA aiding in the design and testing of cell transfection devices for applications in gene therapy.
Melis worked as a summer associate in the Orange County office in 2022 and joined the firm’s Los Angeles based practice in 2023.
