Silas K. Alexander

Silas provides clients with guidance in trademark strategy, brand protection, and IP portfolio management. With a professional background in marketing, communications, and digital advertising, Silas’s legal practice focuses on amplifying clients’ messaging impact and reducing common, costly IP-related headaches.

Silas prioritizes client accessibility in his practice, believing that a lack of rapid communication is fatal to trust and confidence. As a member of both Washington Lawyers for the Arts and the Seattle IP Inn of Court, Silas stays plugged in to important legal developments and constantly aims to increase the value he delivers.

Silas received his J.D. from the University of Washington in June 2020. He performed his undergrad study at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with a B.A. in political science. Prior to joining Knobbe Martens, Silas worked in both Washington, D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area. Silas enjoys all things outdoors, particularly skiing, biking, golf, and softball.
